Cable Guards for Utility Poles and Buildings

R&M Cable Guard covers cable runs installed vertically on utility poles and buildings. The UV-stabilized polyethylene guard is designed for outdoor applications and is predrilled for attachment using ¼-inch lag bolts or suitable screws.

The material is intended for use around common pole-treatment and field conditions, including exposure to creosote and petroleum products. Grey guards are available in 5-foot, 8-foot and 10-foot lengths with a 2.5-inch inside diameter.

Slotted-flange models include mounting slots beginning near the end of the guard and continuing along its length. Confirm fastener type, mounting surface and required coverage before installation.
